Don’t Be Dependent on the Rat Race
Don’t be dependent on the rat race. It won’t make you rich. Going to school, then college, and then working for somebody else for 30 years will never make you rich. Sure, you might make some money as an engineer or doctor, but that’s not true wealth. If you want real freedom, you need to have your own business, your own wealth—something that works even while you sleep.
Most people spend their lives chasing money, chasing status, or showing off things they don’t even own. But the truly rich? They chase peace, freedom of time, and peace of mind. They never take life for granted because they’ve experienced its toughest battles. That’s why they don’t need to show off. They don’t talk much, they act. They focus on what really matters.
As Archimedes once said: “Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I will move the Earth.” That’s the power of leverage. You don’t need to dream small or stick to what society thinks is possible. If you believe in your vision and act on it, you can achieve what others call impossible.
Take risks. Do the things that seem crazy to others. Build something big and scale it. If you know how to create a product and sell it at scale, you’ll make a fortune. That’s when you stop playing the rat race game and start playing on an entirely new level—a level most people don’t even know exists.
Keep doing things that scare you. Push yourself beyond the limits that society, your family, or even your own mind places on you. Fear is the only chain holding you back from greatness. As I always say: “Kill all the fears you have before you die a regretful life.”
